Founder of No More Martyrs receives the 2018 40 under 40 Leader in Health Award

Dr. Nadia Richardson, Founder of the No More Martyrs mental health awareness campaign, has been selected as one of the 2018 National Minority Quality Forum 40 Under 40 Leader in Health for her achievements in minority mental health advocacy and awareness. 

Recipients will be honored at a Gala Dinner scheduled during the 2018 National Minority Quality Forum Leadership Summit on Health Disparities and Spring Health Braintrust taking place in Washington, D.C on April 16-17, 2018.  Summit speakers include U.S. Representative John Lewis, Representative Maxine Waters and Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier.

After receiving hundreds of applications and nominations from health care professionals across the country, 40 individuals were chosen to represent the next generation of thought leaders working to reduce health disparities and decrease health inequality for minority communities.  The 2018 recipients include a wide range of health professionals including: physicians, pharmacists, dentists, anesthesiologists, nurses, policy experts, researchers, and others.
